Mt. Baker

I snapped this picture with my phone as I was walking onto my ultimate field last night. Perhaps I'm a bit callous to the geography here, but I haven't been awestruck by any of the mountains in British Columbia yet. The one mountain that has ever managed to stop me in my tracks is the sight of Mt. Baker all the way in Washington state. 

Only on the clearest days can you see it, and it always manages to fuel my curiosity. It's snowcapped year round, but perhaps one day I'll take a trip across the boarder to see it...maybe even hike it.
